The 200-km network of cross-country trails—including 130 km of classic-style trails and 70 km of skating/sport trails—offers a variety of difficulty levels, lengths (up to 30 km), and elevations (including trails on the plateau and the Dachstein Glacier), providing ideal conditions for beginners and experts alike. Of course, there are top-notch cross-country skiing schools and ski rentals on site, as well as a special children’s cross-country skiing park for the little ones.

Ramsau am Dachstein is introducing the “Deep Snow Pass”—similar to the via ferrata certification—for off-piste snow fun.

Hike along 70 km of groomed winter hiking trails, and enjoy a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride during the day or under a full moon. Sledding or night sledding on the illuminated sledding run on Rittisberg or along the ski trail is an adventure for young and old alike. For those who prefer a slightly “quieter” pace, snowshoeing or ice skating are great options.

With its adventure pool and a spacious lap pool, the indoor pool offers plenty of room for competitive swimmers and families. The little ones have their own play area in the wading pool. The 600-square-meter sauna and spa area is the perfect place to relax.
